There is nothing more wonderful or adventurous as being in the bush veld and in the eagerness of every day. If we go right back to the day when the first daring young man threw himself on to some wild horse and enjoyed a few thrilling moments before he was tossed into a thorn bush when the grunt of a lion was near.

The same unsheltered , pristine land survives today in the Safarilands bushveld; the graceful clumps of trees, the patches of brilliant wild flowers, the water soiled yellow rocks, the perfect natural red rock gardens. All these are trimmed with birds, butterflies and insects, forming some glorious design, utterly independent of Man.

You may walk through the dewy grass with the spiders’ webs sparkling in the sunshine. Over the tall veld grass, past the wild cotton and rest awhile under the shade of the Shepard’s tree and onto a termite mound to catch but a glimpse of the surrounding landscape. Onward through a drainage line, splash through the muddy river and negotiate the small rocks under your feet to ascend up the Bobidi Hill. Winding along the ancient path to catch the view of the Eagle over the Reserve. Descend amongst the spoor of the small antelope as they guide you down to weave through the Reserve to changing landscapes of Acacia trees, the burnt leaves of the Mopani and the grey frame of the Lead Wood.

Dance with the cantering game or mellow with the White Rhino, whatever your heart desires.
